The essentials
Learn Brisca in three moves
Win tricks with valuable cards, use the trump suit wisely, and finish with more points than your rivals.

Follow the lead
Each player lays one card in turn. You do not have to follow suit, so every card is a tactical choice.

Trump changes the trick
A trump card is revealed beside the deck. A trump beats any card from the other suits.

Count the valuable cards
Aces are worth 11, threes 10, kings 4, knights 3 and jacks 2. The remaining cards help win tricks but score no points.
Deal, play, collect, repeat
Every player starts with three cards. After each trick, its winner draws first, then the other players draw in turn. When the deck is empty, play the final cards and count the points.
